Like him I do believe art has the power to touch people's hearts and change their lives. In this painting the serenity of the evening is surrounded by tones of yellow and ocre in a symphony of light. Like the Luminists, I strove to achieve the three visual aspects in this art-work: soft edges, a warm palette, and an overall sense of light.
